Summary

Under the direction of the President/CRO (Chief Revenue Officer), the Practice Leader will demonstrate a high level of professionalism internally and externally along with very high technical capabilities. In this role, the Practice Leader will drive new business proactively through the company’s sales and service model, as well as ensure client retention on a personally managed book of business - specifically for clients within the construction industry. The Construction Practice Leader will establish structure and accountability within their respective teams to maximize the economic potential of the Department while institutionalizing the principles of leadership and teamwork. The Practice Leader will assist the teams within the Department by providing technical advice, marketplace direction, guidance, and leadership in internal and external discussions and negotiations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Contribute as a manager to short-term and long-term planning, execution, and accountability for the overall strategic planning and vision objectives of the Commercial Construction department and for the Company
• Develop and support Sales Consultants within the Commercial Construction department to drive growth as outlined in Company’s Strategic Plan
• Oversee and manage client renewal process through coordination of the account management team’s efforts
• Conduct regular meetings with clients including but not limited to Renewal Proposals and Pre-Renewal meetings with and without Sales Consultant
• Stay informed of industry trends including carrier appetites & relationships, and manage expectations with clients
• Execute SHAPE Service Standards to meet growth and retention goals

Certificates/Licenses/Education:

Property & Casualty Insurance License Required

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Valid Drivers License Required

Relevant Insurance/Risk Management Designations Preferred (CRIS)
