Surety Account Manager

Department: Surety
Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Summary

Under the direction of the Team Lead and Manager of Surety Operations, provide superior service in expanding and maintaining the Surety Department client base; manage an assigned book of business consisting of contract, commercial, and subdivision clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Issue bonds in compliance with underwriting authority and guidelines; seek approval on all items outside of authority
  • Utilize surety systems for execution of new bonds and renewals
  • Invoice new bonds, endorsements and renewals in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain client files electronically in Agency system
  • Develop relationships with clients and surety representatives
  • Perform other assigned duties or functions as required to meet business objectives

Certificates/Licenses/Education

Property & Casualty Insurance License Preferred

Bachelor’s Degree Required
